our knowledge

In the area of function and software development, we accompany our customers from the initial ideas to series production readiness. In doing so, we use our methodical knowledge and our in-depth expertise to develop the optimal solution for and with our customers. The focus is on issues of automated driving and the optimization of assistance systems, especially in the control and communication of hardware components. In the context of highly automated driver assistance systems, we are also experts in environment analysis, sensor data fusion, trajectory planning, and basic function development.

The employees of FMS have far-reaching development and application competences:

#C-Sharp #C++ #C #Python #Java #XML #JSON #gTest #Carla #Scala #VTD #ADTF #ROS #OpenCV #OpenPass #SuMo #CarMaker #MatLab #SimuLink #Hadoop #TensorFlow #PyTorch #FlexConfigRBS

We combine our skills in an interdisciplinary and cross-departmental manner in order to be able to realize future-proof functional scopes, especially in the further development of highly automated driver assistance systems. For example, development engineers work closely with mobility and traffic experts who are familiar with the legal, scientific and social requirements for autonomous driving functions. On this basis, the FMS develops representative test person studies which, with the help of real traffic situations, lead to well-founded findings and a real knowledge advantage.

how we do it

V-Modell

For a flexible and goal-oriented development of software solutions and components, we use the logic of the established V-model. In order to be able to guarantee all project participants a uniform and consistent picture of the common procedure, we orient ourselves to this procedure model both in the customer order and in internal system development projects. During implementation, particular attention is paid to minimizing project-specific risks and adhering to planned cost schedules.

MBSE

Based on the interdisciplinary development standard Systems Engineering, we use predefined models to ensure end-to-end transparency with regard to requirements and processes in the collaboration between development instances. The model-based approach simplifies collaboration and goal achievement throughout the entire development process. UML and SysML and tools such as Enterprise Architect are used as modeling languages.

Automotive SPICE

Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) is a standard derived from ISO/IEC15504 that ensures the uniform analysis, evaluation and improvement of development processes in the automotive industry. The maturity of development processes is evaluated and successively optimized by means of the so-called process reference model and the process assessment model. In the area of pre-series and series development of software scopes, we make use of ASPICE and successfully implement individual processes. In 2020, an independent certification for ASPICE conformity will be carried out.
